The program combines works by John Dowland, Henry Purcell, John Playford, and Orlando Gibbons with songs by Sting, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Queen, revealing how themes of love, adventure, and longing remain timeless.
Performed on the duo’s distinctive combination of saxophone and accordion, these pieces are transformed through new arrangements that merge different styles and eras into a coherent musical narrative. In Tales, Michał Knot and Bogdan Laketić not only reinterpret existing works but also create new compositions, blurring the lines between classical and popular traditions.
